Just getting back into the swing of things after NYFW and appreciation abounds.  Most people think that models have it all. They have someone to do hair and make up.  They have money, fame the adoration of designers, photographers and fans.  Well, maybe some do have that!!!  Just imagine all that goes into NYFW, and all that rides on each of these young men and women who literally can not miss a beat without making the entire show fall apart.

Photographers, Art Directors, Designers and all types of creatives push models to uncomfortable lengths to get the look… to get the shot!  Bless her heart Anna, of Tulip Louise, wearing ultra high heels went out on a rickety slotted balcony high above Broadway in NYC just because I “loved the light.”  Now that is dedication to both fashion and a friend.  Thanks Anna!!!

I can’t even WAIT!!!!!

No one has more style than my favorite jewelry designers Angela Burgess & Courtney Taylor owners/ designers for Angel Court Jewelry (http://www.angelcourt.com) and my favorite fashion stylist and close friend, Anna Cottrell of Tulip Louise (http://tuliplouise.blogspot.com).  It seemed like the perfect idea to merge these talents with my own, to inspire a fun filled shoot.  These amazing women have inspired me in so many ways. I love the connection in fashion we all share.  Photographer, designer, and stylist working together in a symbiotic way can only feed creativity and cultivate inspiration for future endeavors.  This relationship is a beautiful and often under appreciated aspect of commercial photography.  Let’s celebrate a fruitful collaboration of art and style!!!!… and don’t you just ADORE the neon bracelets (already on my wish list). Yonder Mountain String Band’s Harvest Music Festival on Mulberry Mountain!!  I gotta say… it was a great one this year complete with perfect weather and perfectly timed fall color!

I was THRILLED to come home and find Mason’s new Denim Daze brochure in my mailbox!!!!!!!  There is nothing better than seeing your work in print.   Well… maybe a new pair of perfectly fitted jeans.  The brochure is full of beautiful women dressed in 70′s inspired style and photographed by yours truly.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

The Fayetteville Roots Festival DELIVERED!   I was so unbelievably honored to be a small part of the three day event.  Promising to outgrow itself next year, you can be sure I will be there to help document the music, food, people and just flat out fantastic spirit of the event.  Way to show the love Fayetteville!!!  Many more images to be added to this posting so check back soon!!!
